So one of the biggest things today that we got going for and against us is online marketing. If you know how to crack the code, that could be your key to getting millions of hits, as well as thousands of potential customers.
What are your favorite methods of branding? How do you get people to add your music/myspace or try your product/service?
For me personally, I have over 30 different accounts on various social networking sites and I keep them updated with a utility called ping.fm. It's great for the "Give Me Andy' branding and saves me time.
Whenever I add new people on MySpace, imeem, etc, I always make a point of including a short comment or personalized blurb. It's slower than if I set a spam bot up (which I could totally do), but the friends I add usually mean more, which is important in grassroots marketing.
