While one prides itself on being a heritage brand, and the other on being a bit more modern or technical, Barbour and White Mountaineering have joined sensibilities to release a collaborative capsule collection. The Japanese brand looked to retained Barbour’s signature aesthetics including its pattern and fabric choices, but with updated silhouettes that appeal to today’s audience. Including variants of the classic waxed cotton jacket, shirts, raglan-sleeve blousons, shorts and more, today we present a quick glimpse at what you can expect to see from this upcoming range. Be sure to check back real soon as we will be posting an exclusive interview with Barbour‘s Design Manager Gary Janes and White Mountaineering‘s Designer Yosuke Aizawa in which they discuss their soon-to-release partnership.
