Steps:

1. Accept it happened.

2. Let it go.

Mother is no longer a term of endearment but the name of my slave driver. Led in by false kindness, I stand here confiding things this primitive creature should not know. Things to be unfairly used against me. Things that closed me off to her and the world around me. Soon to become paranoid of plots, I keep secrets to myself. I give and give and you take in return of broken dreams and unfixable trust issues. You think it's a phase or something ...

I just found out that my uncle passed away on Monday, and it hit me really hard. Even though he lived on the other side of the country in North Carolina, he was my favorite.

He was so happy all the time; so carefree with his big belly and bald head; his deep Southern accent and feen for Ritz crackers.

I'm happy that he is pain free now. He had been in and out of the hospital for the past few years, and was finally hospitalized for good.

I will always love him dearly.

He would ...

Detoxification?

If you havent already noticed, detox is becoming popular (again).

It's simple, as long as you can stay motivated and follow these 5 steps. (I'll make it easy to understand.)

1. Right when you wake up, drink one lemon squeezed into 12 ounces of warm filtered water (no tap water!). Lemon tells your liver to get rid of toxins and helps clean out the extra junk in your intestines.

Take acidophilus or a probiotic supplement. These help get rid of bad bacteria that are in your body. ...

Back in August 2008, I went through a really bad breakup. It had been my first real relationship, and even though I was the one to pull the plug, I was hurt. A lot. It was the worst thing in the world - I became insecure, and lost like a puppy. After 3 months, I couldnt take it anymore. I had to talk to someone, so I went to my boy Jay. He knows me like Einstein knew math, and i relied on him all the time. He told me to let it go. To grow up and stop living in my past. Another thing he wanted ...

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the empty mayonnaise jar...

A professor stood before his college philosophy class with some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large, empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the ...

You only call her a bitch cuz she won't let you get that pussy.

Maybe she feels y'all didn't share any similar interests.

Or maybe you're just an asshole who couldn't sweet talk the princess."

Just like set menus from restaurants wherein different kinds of foods are served - from appetizers, to main dishes, to desserts - life also has its menu for an upbeat life. Different people have their own individual menu that makes them cheerful and optimistic. Find out what they are; they may help to keep your life meaningful, enjoyable, inspiring, and interesting. Consider the following:

Help the needy, the poor, the handicapped, the ailing, the broken-hearted, the homeless, the lost, ...

Okay - so we all know that none of us actually stick to what we write down on that nostalgic list every late December/early January. None of us actually vacuum the house every week. And none of us actually go the gym everyday.

But then there are the people who are able to vacuum every weekend and go to the gym everyday, while still having time to eat healthy and avoid the fast food empire. How do they do it and not get stressed? Even I can't answer that question.

However, there is ...

I have spent the past fifteen years of my life (yes, I am young!) wondering about what my "thing" was. For example, some kids grow up with basketball, baseball, and soccer moms who bake cupcakes for the team. Others grow up training in ballet, cheerleading,or gymnastics. I never had one of those "things". I was a girl scout whose troop failed numerous times because there were only five girls at the meetings.

I got tired of all the BS the troop leaders put us through, ...
