Great people don't always create their lives actively. Look at Helen Keller. She wasn't able to do much at all, so she had to have another person create her life [speech, self-control, integrity].

Many of the "others" are not recognized, and therefore cannot become categorized as "great people".

However, I do somewhat agree that there are people who just wait around and don't try to take charge. Those are the people who won't get anywhere unless someone comes along and hands it to 'em on a silver platter.

But whether we are recognized or not, we are all great people.
